Britney 'rushing new romance'

Britney 'rushing new romance'

Britney Spears' friends are reportedly worried she's rushing into her new relationship.

The 32-year-old star split from her ex David Lucado in August after rumours he had cheated on her, but she's already moved on with TV producer-and-writer Charlie Ebersol.

Things are said to be going well with the pair and she's even thought to have introduced her new beau to her kids Jayden and Sean, who she has with ex-husband Kevin Federline. But it seems those close to her are wary of her moving on too fast.

"Brit has admitted to pals she's petrified of being alone and hates being single. While Charlie is a great guy, her friends fear she needs some time on her own before rushing in," a source told British magazine Closer.

"Brit insists Charlie is different from all of her exes. He's a TV and film producer, as well as an entrepreneur with his own company. He's also great with kids and has made it clear he's ready to settle down and have a family."

This relationship comes after rumours of a romance between Britney and one of her backing dancers, Willie Gomez, who takes part in her Piece of Me Las Vegas residency. While the blonde star is said to have enjoyed her brief fling, it's more serious with Charlie than it was with Willie.

"Britney has known Charlie for years through her dad, Jamie. But after going out for dinner recently, the pair struck up a romance," the insider added. "She had fun with Willie, but she couldn't fight her feelings for Charlie, and things have become serious very quickly."

Nick Jonas: Child star

Nick Jonas: Child star transition is challenging

Nick Jonas thinks it's "cheesy" when stars try too hard to show the public something.

The 22-year-old grew up with siblings Joe and Kevin in band Jonas Brothers and also appeared on the Disney Channel.

Disney has helped launch the careers of many young stars, including Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande, who have now embraced a sexier image. Nick doesn't necessarily think coming of age in the spotlight is tougher for girls though.

"It comes with its own set of challenges," he reasoned to British magazine Very. "They're different but equally challenging. It's just a matter of how you handle it.

"I tried to make my transition really natural, not forced. Any time it feels like you're trying to show people something, it feels cheesy. So hopefully it's apparent that each step I've taken has been intentional to set up the next chapter."

Since the dissolution of the Jonas Brothers, Nick has signed to a modelling agency, appeared in TV show Kingdom, produced solo music and expressed an interest in designing.

He spoke a little about his self-titled album, which was released earlier this month.

"I think the biggest thing is going to be my transparency," he shared. "As for specifics of who [lyrics] are about, I like to leave it to the imagination and have it be a bit mysterious. But the subject matter spans from relationships to family and how that's change for me over the last year and a half, two years.

"We live in a world now where it's so easy to gain access to people and their lives. You kinda have to be transparent because people will know if it's bulls**t or not."

Joanne Shaw Taylor Shepherds

Joanne Shaw Taylor
Shepherds Bush Empire

As seems to have been the case all through this tour, the fans were out in force for Joanne Shaw Taylor’s show at London’s Shepherd Bush Empire and they certainly weren’t disappointed as she tore out a brilliant set full of tracks from her earliest album through to this years Award nominated ‘The Dirty Truth’.

The first time I saw Ms Shaw Taylor was playing an acoustic set in support of Joe Bonamassa as Shepherds Bush and it is wonderful to see how this Black Country born Blues player has developed and from the opening notes of ‘Mud Honey’ she was totally commanding of her audience.
With her trademark pink Telecaster she was ripping out the riffs and soloing like a demon and with now she is completely comfortable with her raw and gutsy vocal style she puts her songs over brilliantly.

‘Just Another Word’ and ‘Watch ‘em Burn’ from her first album demonstrated how she has developed and she played them powerfully but losing none of the subtlety of the Jim Gaines production.
The slow and burning ‘Jealousy’ was heart-wrenching and dark but when she came to ‘Wrecking Ball’ from the ‘The Dirty Truth’ album she had a little jab at Miley Cyrus before tearing out a brilliant version of her own song – the crowd lapped it up.

Earlier Bernie Marsden had played a terrific opening set of new material from his ‘Shine’ album and some Whitesnake classics and Taylor brought him out for a couple of numbers that had the packed crowd baying with joy: Whitesnake’s ‘Walking In The Shadow Of The Blues’ featured Marsden on vocals and ‘Let It Burn’ from Taylor’s ‘Diamond In the Dust’ album saw the two of them trading licks and building an old-fashioned duel. As Ms Taylor remarked afterwards “That was as much fun as it looked”.

‘Going Home’ saw the end of the set proper and she encored with a gutsy version of ‘The Dirty Truth’.

There is a good reason why British audiences have grown to love Joanne Shaw Taylor and it isn't just her looks – she plays with all her heart and no little skill. She plays for the crowd and they lapped it up – can’t wait for her to come back again.

Beyonce smartphone video

Beyonce smartphone video

Beyonce has released a new music video reportedly shot entirely on a smartphone.

The pop star dropped the visual clip for 7/11 on Friday, depicting her dancing and joking around in front of the camera.

Shots show her on a hotel balcony in her underwear, hanging with her girlfriends in a bathroom and donning a cat mask in front of a Christmas tree.

Celebuzz reports the video was shot exclusively using behind-the-scenes iPhone footage.

7/11 was one of two songs Bey released Friday.

The other, Ring Off, joins the former as part of her upcoming box set, Beyonce Platinum.

The release comes nearly a year after the 33-year-old shocked the world with the surprise release of her self-titled fifth solo record, boasting 14 songs and 17 videos - one for each track plus three bonus promos.

At the time, the star explained she was 'bored' with the traditional methods of releasing music, and hoped her efforts would prove trailblazing.

"I didn't want to release my music the way I've done it. I am bored with that," she stated. "I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans. There's so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn't want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it's ready and from me to my fans.'

Madonna: Why is Kim's bottom o

Madonna: Why is Kim's bottom ok?

Madonna is confused by nudity on social networks.

The pop veteran appeared to be commenting on Kim Kardashian's recent nude shoot for Paper magazine with a post on Twitter on Thursday.

In the message, Madonna admitted she is still unsure as to what is considered acceptable on internet sites, when topless pictures are censored.

'Its confusing. Nipples are considered forbidden and provocative but exposing you're a*s is not. #flummoxed (sic),' Madonna wrote.

Madonna's tweet came after Kim admitted the shoot for Paper magazine, which saw her attempt to 'Break the internet' by showing off her famous derriere, was a 'token' before she gets pregnant with her second child.

'I have an even better body after having the baby than I did before,' Kim said during an interview on Australia's 2Day FM. 'I'm very confident about my body. It was just a little token before I have to go through pregnancy again.'

Kim also revealed during her trip to Australia that she hadn't told mother and momager Kris Jenner about the nature of the shoot.

"She does manage me, but I'm pretty in control of my career," Kim said. 'Everyone thinks she's this mastermind and tells us what to do and where to go."

"She was actually in Paris with me and I had dinner with her right after the shoot, and I'm pretty private about the stuff that I do until it comes out," she continued. "So I told her I did a shoot and I was like 'Just wait until it comes out - you'll see!'"
