The Script announce forest gig

The Script is the first act to be announced for Forest Live 2015; the annual summer music series organised by the Forestry Commission, where bands perform in unique woodland locations across England

The Irish trios fourth album 'No Sound Without Silence' hit the top of the charts on its release and follows on from previous success with '#3', 'Science & Faith' and their eponymous debut, all contributing to sales in excess of 20 million.

The latest single 'Superheroes' joins a raft of previous impassioned and catchy hits including 'We Cry', 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved', 'Breakeven', 'Nothing' and 'For The First Time'. Worldwide no. 1 'Hall Of Fame' featuring fellow 'The Voice' judge will.i.am has generated five million sales, 150 million YouTube views, and 100 million Spotify plays, making the streaming service's top 10 acts of all time and confirming the band's global appeal and longevity.

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission to bring both music and forests to new audiences.

Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding England's forests and woodlands and increasing their value to people and wildlife. Over Forest Live's 14 year history, money raised has contributed to a wide range of projects, from wildlife conservation to making improvements for visitors.

With everything required for a great night out, including full catering and bar facilities, the gigs are renowned for their relaxed atmosphere.

Commenting on the forest show, Danny O'Donoghue for The Script said, 'We love performing live and our biennial gig in the woods is becoming a bit of a touring tradition, so we are really looking forward to playing Thetford Forest again in 2015.'

The Script plus guests will be performing:

Thursday 2 July: Thetford Forest, near Brandon, Suffolk.

Tickets £37.50 (plus £3.75 booking fee) go on sale at 9.00am Friday 28 November from the Forestry Commission box office tel: 03000 680400, or buy online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music

Nicki Minaj admits to feeling

Nicki Minaj admits to feeling 'Shy a Lot'

Nicki Minaj isn't exactly a stranger to wearing revealing clothing. She also isn't afraid to get a little sexy during her award show appearances.

But while on the red carpet at the 2014 American Music Awards, the "Super Bass" rapper couldn't help but admit to feeling shy at some points in her career.

"Yes and people don't know that," she told E! News exclusively. "I feel shy a lot of times actually. I just push myself to go for it."

Pretty surprising answer, right? Giuliana Rancic followed up by asking the 31-year-old what scares her.

"Being away from my family and people who love me and love me the most," she shared. "So I'm going to move back to the East Coast.just to keep grounded and be around."

She added, "I want to see my baby brother grow up a little more. I think it's good for the soul."

Before the big move to the Big Apple, Minaj has a brand new album coming out that she can't help but be pumped for.

"I'm so excited. I'm so proud of it," she shared in regards to The Pinkprint, available Dec. 15. "It really shows a lot of growth. I know that my fans are really going to appreciate the subject matter on a lot of the songs."

And if Team Minaj thinks this is the last album we'll see from the rapper, think again! Although rumors have been swirling that she's going to take a break from music after this disc, Minaj gladly set the record straight Sunday night.

"I said it after the fifth album," she clarified. "I'm only about to put out the third album so that's a long time from now." Thank goodness!

Tune-in to E!'s Live From The Red Carpet at 6pm PT and don't miss E! News on Monday at 7p and 11p for all the AMA highlights!

Sting goes back to acting

Sting goes back to acting to save Last Ship

Sting is returning to acting to try and save his Broadway musical The Last Ship.

The singer will take over the role of shipyard foreman Jackie White in place of Jimmy Nail from December 9 through January 10.

The $15 million musical is in trouble financially as, since opening night on October 26, it has been grossing between $495,000 and $545,000 per week which is less than half of its gross potential and below an estimated cost of $625,000 per week to break even. Over the last three weeks, the show has only managed to sell about 62% of its available seats.

This will not be Sting's first time on Broadway. He played the lead role of Macheath in the 3 Penny Opera during the 1989 season for a total of 20 previews and 65 performances.

A formal announcement is expected on Monday.
